Tara Alyse absolutely loves every aspect of her acting and singing career, from the tough practices to the performance. A highlight came this summer as she was cast as "Kelsey Neilson" in Teatro delle Muse's performance of "High School Musical." Because of her small build, Tara is able to portray ages 11-14 with ease. She has been singing as long as she's been able to talk, and her personality is perfect for acting. In her words "I love acting because I can pretend to be anyone." She has been a vocal entertainer since she was 7 and released her first public single on CD for Christmas 2005 entitled "Santa's Cause." Tara is also a Christian artist, and is very aware that her talents are a gift from the Lord to use for His glory. She has taken vocal lessons from Karmyn Tyler for 6 years, studies dance & piano, holds a Black Belt in the American Taekwondo Association, and is involved in numerous social activities. Like any teen she loves her friends, but she also has a very tender heart for those younger or less privileged than herself. She enjoys watching TV, playing her Game Boy, & doing crafts such as latch hook items or cross stitch projects. However, if you mention a microphone, stage, or set everything else goes by the wayside.
